The joy of life does not come principally from human relationships. God has placed it all around us, it's in everything & anything that we can experience. We just need to change the way we look at those things.

Fairbanks

My long yesterday turned into a longer today due to no night to speak of.  This I will remedy here shortly with cup of hot tea, shower, comfy bed, & sleep mask!
I'm really impressed with Fairbanks from what I've seen.  Had to take 3 out of their 10 bus routes to get to my B&B.  Everyone has been super nice & helpful.
Fairbanks is called the "Golden Heart City"; people have hearts of gold & will always help someone out before they help themselves.  In their Golden Heart Plaza is this "Unknown First Family" statute.
