There's several wildfires burning & one is 100 miles north of Anchorage. Its so dry & hot with dry thunderstorms occurring. Train came through heavy smoke & the sun was a burnt-orange color. Anchorage has a haze hanging over it.

Anchorage
Left Denali at 12:30pm on Alaska Railroad for Anchorage & arrived at 8:40pm. It was a beautiful blue sky day that allowed us to see Mt McKinley from the train many times. This was not the norm & I took a hoard of photos that I'll share later.
